Terms and Conditions

Pet Nav Transport agrees to provide transportation for your pet from a point of origin to a point of destination agreed upon by the client and Pet Nav Transport. Designated pick up dates and delivery dates to be agreed upon prior to booking. Solo/VIP transport dates will be hard dates for pick up, while pick up dates for shared transport can occur within a 3 day period of the target date. All delivery dates will be established 24 hours prior to pick up.

Passenger(s) must be at least 8 weeks of age at time of pick up

All riders must be accompanied by a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (Health Certificate) issued AND signed by a state licensed veterinarian dated no earlier than 10 days from the date of delivery.

A photo of the health certificate must be texted/emailed 48 hours prior to pick up.  The passenger will not be picked up without a valid, correct health certificate on file.

Should your driver arrive to pick up your passenger and the health certificate not be in order, the passenger can not be boarded upon transport and any deposit/fees will not be refunded.

Semi-private transport bookings require a deposit of 50% at booking to reserve a spot, with the remaining balance due no later than 48 business hours prior to estimated pick up date.

Deposit is due within 24 hours of bid acceptance. This specifically applies to all transport bids accepted using online bid sites such as Citizenshipper, Uship, Shiply, etc.

Your spot will be reserved for a period no less than and no more than 24 hours without deposit. You will need to reconfirm after 24 hours, at which time the deposit will be due immediately at booking.

Payment of the deposit shall serve as a binding contract and acceptance of the Terms and Conditions by the customer and Pet Nav Transport

No spot upon a semi-private transport route shall be reserved until a deposit of no less than 50% of total fee for semi-private transport is paid.

No spot upon transport route shall be reserved until a deposit of no less than 100% for private or In cabin Flight Escort transport is paid.

Private Transport bookings must be paid in full at time of booking.

Private Transport pick up dates will be scheduled.

USDA regulations prohibit transporters from accepting any form of payment upon delivery, unless a written agreement has been signed by the consignor (sending party) guaranteeing payment of return shipping, boarding, care, etc for the rider, should delivery be unable to be made at the destination.

In addition, all funds need to be available for the transport for multiple reasons including but not limited to emergency situations.

In the event that the management of Pet Nav Transport agrees to any remaining balance to be paid upon delivery, there will be no exchange in possession of passenger(s) and/or any documentation, supplies, etc intended for the receiver, it's parties, or entities until such time that the remaining balance has been satisfied.

In the event of a veterinary emergency during transport, the cosignee (receiver) will be responsible for any and all fees, and must make arrangements to pay the veterinarian in a timely manner to avoid delay of transport.

Payment options available are Venmo Business (@petnavtxp)

Or

credit/debit processed through Square.

Venmo, and credit/debit transactions will incur a 3.5% processing fee per transaction.

Credit/debit transactions must be completed 48 business hours before scheduled pick up.  Therefore, NO credit/debit card payments for remaining balance will be accepted within 48 business hours of pick up date or after Thursday before pick up date 3:00PM Eastern time.

Semi-private Transport pick up dates will be scheduled on a "week of" schedule. In most cases booking is required one (1) week in advance.  This means that the pick up date can be any date during the week scheduled.

Semi-private pick up and delivery times can occur between 6am-10pm local time

Pick up and delivery outside of the above times will only occur if prior approval from the parties involved is obtained.

You will receive notice of pick up/delivery time the night prior, 1 hour prior, and 15 minutes prior to arrival.

Should the estimated time be between the above hours and a client states that the time is too early/late, there will be an additional $100 per hour fee for delay of transport, which involves extra care for your passenger and prolongs the time on transport for other passengers.  This fee will be collected before any documents, personal items, or the passenger is exchanged.

We offer a private transport option for those clients that require a specific pick up date.  Our private transport rate is $1.25/mile with an 800 mile minimum charge ($1000).  Private transport requires booking two (2) weeks in advance, unless otherwise agreed upon.

In Cabin Flight Escort

All fees associated with In Cabin Flight Escort service, including but not limited to airfare, airline pet fee, In Cabin Escort planning and service fee, etc) are due at booking.

Please also make sure that there is food provided for the transport.  Food should be in clearly labeled, zip top bags with a zipper closure and not the "squeeze to shut" bags, these tend to come open or not get closed securely sometimes.

Please offer your passenger food and water within 4 hours prior to transport.

Please keep personal items to a minimum as additional storage is minimal on the transport.  A bed/blanket for the kennel and

some toys for the kennel are fine, keep in mind that bedding for those that are not potty trained can be messy by the time of arrival.  Dog beds usually will take up the entire kennel floor, this can make it difficult to place food/water bowls. Please expect that spills WILL occur in these instances and the dog bed will be soiled upon arrival and hand-off at delivery.

Dog beds inside a kennel can also add to additional heat inside the kennel.

We use a ground corn cob bedding in the kennel, as it is extra absorbent and make every attempt to keep your passenger as clean as possible, but can not take the chance of taking them into a self service dog wash or groomer and have the possibility of the presence of sickness in these establishments.

We also suggest something that smells like home to help make your baby feel more comfortable.

ONLY additional kennels with the exact same origin and exact same destination are eligible for a 50% discount off of the first full rate kennel.

ONLY riders from the same litter and/or household that have no history of aggression toward each other will be allowed as "kennel mates".  This is subject to availability of an accommodating crate.

Passengers that are less than 16 weeks old MUST remain crated during the entire duration of the transport, due to veterinary recommendations for health and safety.

Passengers over 16 weeks will be walked every 4-6 hours on all trips with a duration longer than 6 hours, provided all three sets of vaccinations have been administered and vaccination records provided to Pet Nav Transport

 (Weather and environmental conditions permitting)

Estimated transport times are exactly as the name implies, they are estimates. ETAs do NOT include weather/traffic delays, fuel stops, meal/rest breaks, pet breaks, and any other situation that is considered out of the driver's control, and/or influence.

Routes are planned to be executed in the least amount of miles possible and most cost effective manner from starting point to ending point.  Booking order, any semblance of, or referred to does/will NOT determine pick up/delivery order.  On occasion, a request for different pick up/delivery order MAY be honored. This can be done with an additional cost to the client requesting the order change and ONLY when it doesn't affect the overall route, its passengers, and/or its driver in a negative manner.

Our main goal is to transport your passenger to it's destination safely and comfortably, while being as attentive as possible to all passengers on board throughout the entire route. Therefore, your passenger's driver will on most days put in a 12-14 hour day along the route.

The maximum drive time for a driver will be 12 hours, with a 6-8 hour rest break at the end of the day.

You can anticipate that your driver will drive between 500-700 miles daily.  These times may change occasionally due to road conditions.

The above time expectations may be altered according to the number of passengers onboard the transport conveyance. Your driver also reserves the right to pull off the interstate/road at any sign of fatigue, regardless the time of day or number of hours/miles driven.

Transport drivers will provide an invitation to join Life 360, a GPS tracking app, to all parties requesting. Every attempt will be made to provide photos and updates along the trip to those requesting. In most cases, at least two updates per day.

All communication for the transport will be handled in the Life360 app, once the main parties have joined the circle.

Transport drivers will respond to texts/phone calls ONLY when it is absolutely safe to do so.

Cancellation of services can create havoc and confusion when planning a route or run.  Attempting to rebook cancelled bookings can prove very difficult. Therefore, deposit refund for cancellations will be issued along the following timeline.

 Cancellation

(prior to scheduled pick up date)

 Fourteen (14) days = 100%

Refund of deposit less than 14 days is possible when cancellations have been rebooked.

Refunds WILL be given if a transport has been completely canceled by Pet Nav Transport regardless.

Thank You for your business!
